General Update 5/25/09

Rachel is making serious headway on Fastling, which I just read a part of her new stuff, and it is amazing. By far her best work, the story is richer and more complex than Descent and it is just as captivating. She keeps plugging away at it and hopefully it'll be done soon! It really is an amazing story.
I am still working on the third Tymarune book and its coming along. This one is a broader story and delves into more of the world than the previous two and I think its the best one of the three so far. I am hoping to have the first draft done in a month or so, then I'll be editing it, possibly rewriting depending on how well it flows. Once its done I will focus on finding a literary agent before starting on a new project, which will be a departure from Tymarune, possibly a series of short stories.

To any of you who use it...all of our books, the novels and the kid's books, are available through Amazon.com for the Kindle readers! I've sold one copy of Descent in this format so far and hope that the others take off, soon!

As for currents work...Tom's third instalment of the Tymarune series is amazing so far, the darkest and grittiest by far in the series. A definite attention grabber from the start! And Fastling, my second, is taking on a life of it's own. I'll have more time to work on it over the summer, so ~cross your fingers~ I'll be done with it this fall and can start the editing and polishing phase. My friend Mindi has agreed to work on the cover art with me for it. That'll be a project on it's own since I want to incorporate a lot of elements from the story and layers of details into the final look. It'll be fin, I think!

General Update 4/21/09

Been a while since we've updated on here.
Tom is hard at work on book number 3 of the Tymarune series. This one should be a bit longer, darker and wrap up a bunch of loose ends from the first 2 books. This will be the culmination of the initial series dealing with Xander, more stories from Tymarune may follow after Tom has explored some other ideas.
Rachel is still working away at Fastling and it is coming along nicely. She may be writing some more of the Fearless Three books, as she has received numerous requests for more. Her books continue to sell and she is doing very well in that aspect.
We would like to thank all of our followers and everyone that's purchased our books. We hope you enjoy them and come back for more.

General Update 3/4/09

Rachel and I are currently in the process of creating hardcover editions of our novels. These should be available soon and will be a neat thing to have, especially when we're famous! So, check out the Lulu storefronts periodically to see when they're up, and to see any other projects.
Tom's second novel is completed and for sale through Lulu now, too.

I have begun work on the third installment, already about 20 pages in, so it's coming along. Rachel's friend Mindi has the cover art done for it, so I'll be tinkering with that soon, too. I may also be drawing and composing a Tymarune companion guide with sketches of characters, maps, a glossary and more, but that won't be compiled for some time.
Tomorrow's my birthday, so go buy my books!

Tom's update 2/17

Whispers Against the Darkness is done! I ordered a proof copy of it yesterday and once it arrives and gets the final OK, then it'll be available for ordering online. I really like this one, I think it delves deeper into Tymarune, some of its history and fleshes out some of the characters more.
Up next will definately be #3, tenatively titled Revelations of the Dawn, but I am also going to be trying my hand at some shorter projects, too, so #3 won't be done for quite some time. But, keep checking back and I'll let you know what's coming next. And I'll post when WAtD is on sale.
